摘要： 过渡是自然界和日常生活中普遍存在的现象,它是科学研究、工程技术和社会管理中必须面对的问题。介绍了过渡现象研究的历史及现状,并分别采用传递性、区间和逻辑方法描述了过渡的一般概念。引入了左区间符 【和右区间符】,并提出区间邻接概念,并采用这些概念定义了过渡,讨论了过渡的基本特征:过渡变量、过渡区域、始点、增型过渡和减型过渡等内容。另外,还展望了过渡的研究方向,这些方向的研究成果将初步形成有关“过渡”的知识结构。
