Multi-layer Adaptive Morphology Filtering Algorithm

Abstract: In view of deficiencies of the exiting morphology filtering algorithms,such as the fixing structure,the pre-set structuring element and bias correction coefficient,an adaptive filtering algorithm with a multi-layer structure was pre-sented.The multi-layer structure is combined with three layers:an input layer,an intermediate layer for calculating,and a layer for correcting the bias.Facing the complicated changing interfering signal,the proposed algorithm can make a choice flexibly among the results calculated by using different structuring elements.In addition,aiming at the bias caused by the opening operation and closing operation,the proposed algorithm can weaken the negative impact that the bias brings to filtering effect by optimizing the bias correction coefficient vector.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm improves the performance of morphological filtering,and it has the characteristics of simple design and strong practicability.
