Checking Topological Integrity of Geographic Data Based on Fragile Watermarking

Abstract: Topological relation is the basis of spatial relationships,which is widely used in spatial query and spatial reasoning.In this paper,a fragile watermarking method was proposed to verify the topological integrity of geographic data.The watermark is generated from the disjoint distance between the objects.Then the objects are zoomed in or out according to the modified disjoint distance rate based on the watermark to embed the watermark.In watermarking detection,the topological integrity of geographic data is determined by the result of matching the regenerated watermark with the extracted watermark.Experimental results demonstrate that it is effective to verify topological integrity of geographic data by the method.
