Video Stylization Based on Kinect Depth Information

Abstract: This paper focused on extracting the depth information from Kinect for XBOX360 to separate the video foreground from background and stylizing the foreground and background with different artistic styles.First,we achieved the extraction of video foreground based on the depth data.Next,the foreground and the background video were stylized using different artistic styles based on texture advection which is guided by optical flow field.Finally,the final stylized video was obtained by combining the above two results effectively.We stylized video with texture advection-based methodso that multiple rendering styles are supported.The experimental results show that the video stylization produced by our system achieves a good artistic effect.
