Adaptive Adjustment Algorithm of Mobile Phone Screen Brightness Based on Visual Characteristics

Abstract: The development of artificial intelligence technology prompts people to interact with each other by smartphone,therefore,it is significant to set suitable phone screen brightness for keeping eyes healthy.In light of this problem,this paper optimized the adaptive adjustment algorithm of mobile phone screen brightness by combining the human visual characteristics.Firstly,this paper designed two measurement tools to collect and analyze relevant data.Then,this paper made use of the method of subjective evaluation to study the smartphone brightness under different indoor and outdoor illumination conditions.The experimental results show that the ideal mobile phone screen brightness is much lower than the screen brightness of mobile phones obtained by the existing automatic brightness adjustment.At last,according to users’ experience and the characteristics of human vision,this paper designed and evaluated corresponding algorithm.
