基于小波变换的多方向小波变换

摘要: 方向小波变换(SAWT)是小波变换(WT)的多方向扩展,它的基是各向异性的,具有多尺度、多方向的图像表示特性。SAWT不能恒保持多分辨率尺度关系,不能较好地表示图像中的平滑区域,因此利用WT和SAWT构造了一种新的多尺度、多方向且能保持多分辨率尺度关系的小波方向波变换。为了验证该变换的有效性,利用其进行了图像去噪实验。实验结果表明,所提方法能够很好地表示图像中的平滑区域和细节信息,并且能获得更高的峰值信噪比和结构相似性。

Abstract: The directionlet transform is a multidirectional and anisotropic transform for image processing which expands the direction of the wavelet transform.However,not as the wavelet transform,the directionlet don’t retain the resolution-scalability,which leads to weak expressions on the smooth regions in images.To overcome the drawback,wavelet and directionlet transform were combined to construct a multiscale and multidirectional transform called wavelet based directionlet transform.Numerical experiments were performed to assess the applicability of the proposed method.The obtained results show that the proposed method can well express both smooth regions and details in images,and obtain higher PSNR and SSIM than the compared methods.
