Survey of Human Body Geometry Modeling Methods

Abstract: Human body modeling is an important research topic in computer graphics and computer vision area.The geo-metry modeling is the foundation of the human body modeling.Up to now,the body geometry modeling technology has a large number of implementation methods.This paper reviewed and summarized the latest research achievements of human body geometry modeling domain.And it can be divided into four categories:direct modeling method,2D image recognition method,template matching method and statistics-based model synthesis method.The future development trend of the human body geometry modeling method was also discussed.
