Energy Efficiency Protocol Based on Adaptive Sleeping in Wireless Sensor Network

摘要: 由于无线传感器网络结点能量受限,高效的能量节省策略成为无线传感器研究的热点技术之一。通过分析无线传感器网络各层的能量高效解决方案,给出一种基于自适应睡眠机制的无线传感器能量高效协议。该方案根据剩余能量存储、地理位置信息以及邻近结点负载程度,采用可变睡眠持续时间机制来选择转发分组方式。与基于地理位置随机传播方案相比,提出的方案可以大幅节省网络结点能量,有效均衡网络能量消耗。因此,该方案能够显著延长整体网络寿命。

Abstract: Due to the energy limitation of wireless sensor network nodes,the efficiency strategy of energy saved becomes one of the most hot technologies.An energy efficiency protocol based on adaptive sleeping was proposed after analyzing the solution schemes of energy efficiency in all layers of wireless sensor network.According to the residual energy reserves,geographical location and the traffic load of nearby nodes,the data packets are forwarded with the adaptive sleeping mechanism.Comparing with geographical random forwarding protocol,this scheme can significantly reduce and balance energy consumption of the network,and then apparently prolong the network’s lifetime.
