摘要： Internet和无线通讯的迅速发展使得视频的可分级编码技术成为一个重要的研究领域.本文首先对MPEG-4修订版中FGS的编码机制进行了讨论，然后对无线信道上视频可分级编码技术的发展情况进行了讨论，最后对视频细粒度可分级编码的未来发展趋势进行了展望.
