摘要： 本文介绍了基于事件的新闻报道信息组织系统IEvent Miner的设计思想和实现方法，该系统不但可以对新闻报道中的事件进行探测和追踪，还可以进行事件相关故事单元（RSU）的检索与分类。对IEvent Miner系统的设计思路以及各功能模块进行了详细的说明，并给出了原型系统。与相关研究工作相比，该系统不但具有更好的可扩充性，而且更加稳定。
