摘要: WiMax系统中的数据通道采用GRE封装机制,隧道信息的扩展部分被定义成数据通道标识(DPid),它的作用范围是整个NAP。针对DPid的有效性问题,提出DPid服务器的概念,用于存储和管理NAP范围内的DPid,进而提出数据通道标识的一种动态分配方法,用以保证DPid的唯一性,简化了DPid分配流程,降低了DPid管理难度和维护成本,同时,还对该方法的设计和效果进行了分析。

Abstract: URE(Ueneric Route Encapsulation) encapsulation is used as the tunneling protocol for the data plane in WiMax network, while the key option is applied on R4 and R6 for providing the DPid(Data Path ID) of the tunnel. DPid assigned by the Data Path Function uniquely identifies a particular tunnel for user payload, and it's area of validity is the NAP. This paper proposed a concept of DPid Server for the effectiveness of the DPid, which is used to store and manage all of the DPids in the NAP, and then a dynamic approach of DPid distribution was presented to guarantee the DPid's uniqueness and safety-reliablely distribution in the NAP. This approach simplifies the processes of DPid distribution,reduces the management difficulty and maintenance costs. Furthermore, this paper also analyzed the design and performance of this approach.
