利用形状特征实现人脸身份识别

摘要: 为了克服传统人脸形状描述符所具有的不稳定、缺乏平移、旋转、尺度不变性等缺点,新方法通过对人脸图像进行小波变换,获得多尺度下的不变矩,得到图像的特征描述符,采用改进的线性判别分析法获取分类特征,最终实现人脸识别。实验在PIE人脸数据库上进行,结果证明新方法具有很好的检索效果,获得的描述符具有旋转、平移、尺度不变性等优点,能够很好地描述人脸的形状和空间分布信息。

Abstract: In order to resolve the shapcbased face recognition method's descriptor shortcoming that is not stable and the variance with respect to transform, scaling, and rotation, multi scale edge images and image's characterized descripfor were got through wavelet transform, classification feature was extracted by improved linear discriminant analysis in wavelet transform domain, at last geting the recognition result. The PIE face database was used to test the proposed method, the experiment results show that new method which is based on wavelet transform has better recognizing effect, the new descriptor which can describe image's shape and spatial distribution message very well has the excellence result of stable and the respect to transform, scaling, and rotation.
