双网卡多信道无线MAC协议

摘要: 多收发器多信道技术能够有效提高无线多跳网络的带宽和吞吐量,成为学术界的研究热点。多收发器多信 道MAC协议研究主要涉及信道资源的分配与管理问题。在现有多信道MAC协议的研究基础上,提出一种基于 IEEE802. 11标准W iFi网卡的双收发器多信道MAC协议—DIM(Dual-Interface Management)。协议采用信道冲 突模型来分配信道资源,以优化网络的信道分布;同时,DIM协议在较少的硬件配置下,充分利用IEEE802. 11标准提 供的信道资源,提高了信道利用率。仿真实验表明,DIM协议具有较大的网络吞吐量和较小的分组传输延迟。

Abstract: Multi-radio multi channel technology can efficiently improve the multi-hop wireless networks' bandwidth and throughput, so that it has been becoming the researching hot spot. Among the so many researching key issues about the multi-radio multi channel technology, wireless channel assignment and management arc more important and difficult. hhis paper proposed a new dual-radio multi-channel MAC protocol using the standard 802. 11 WiFi MC, named as DIM Dua1-Interface Management MAC protocol). DllVI can optimize the channel assignment by applying the channel conflict model,and take full use of the available IEEE802. 11 wireless channels with little command on hardwire configuration. The simulation results show that DIM has more network throughput and less latency of packets delivery.
