Abstract: With the development of the theories and key technologies of wireless communication,the application of RFID technology become more and more important.This article briefly introduces the application background of RFID antenna and gives the working principle of RFID tag.It points out the importance of the antenna of the reader to the RFID system,and the analysis of the radiation performance of the theoretical model of the rectangular patch antenna.Based on this theory,a RFID tag patch antenna was designed and the application prospects of RFID technology in the future were looked ahead.
