Abstract: The performance of the network layer device is related to the operational control of the subnet,and directly affects the communication quality of the entire network.Therefore,testing performed on the performance of network layer device is essential.This paper introduced several general index which can measure the performance of the network layer device,and stated the methodology of these index in detail.Then we used the test method to practice in reality environment and obtained the testing reports.
