Review of Road Extraction for High-resolution SAR Images

Abstract: In the field of remote sensing,road extraction for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images has high research significance and application values.Especially with the continuous development of SAR imaging technology and the gradual improvement of SAR image resolution,the researches on this subject attract much attention.However,from the current situation,the researches on road extraction for high-resolution SAR images are not systematic enough.Many road extraction methods for low-resolution SAR images are not suitable for high-resolution.Therefore,the general flow of road extraction for high-resolution SAR images was summarized,some specific methods were enumerated.At the same time,the advantages and disadvantages and application scopes were analyzed in a targeted manner,the main problems existing in the research topic were pointed out,and the development trends were forecasted.
