Abstract: In the system of radio location, AOA TOA and TDOA are the most development potential location technology of the cellular mobile station. hhe time delay estimation of TIX)A requires very high precision. The higher accuracy of measurement, the residual will be smaller which is introduced. On this basis, the research of time delay estimation adopts new GCC algorithm which is based on periodic cross-spectral and cross-power spectrum. The simulation results show that the improved time delay estimation algorithm in the influence of harsh noise environment shows a relatively good robustness.
