Abstract: This paper brings a solution of the study of automating the design of data mining algorithms. The genetic algorithm is adopted to mine automatically the association rule in data mining, and it brings an automatic mining method of association rules based on genetic algorithm, and associated with the TV shopping project, this paper gives test shows of the algorithm. At last, the algorithm is proved effective via comparing with the traditional Apriori algorithm.
