Low Overhead Time Synchronization Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract: Traditional TPSN algorithm can synchronize time between nodes quickly and efficiently,but has poor efficiency when nodes join and fail frequently.This paper proposed an improved time synchronization protocol for wireless Sensor Networks—ITPSN.The algorithm doesn’t construct the topology of the network,and it is efficient when nodes join and fail frequently.Experiments show that the algorithm improves the robustness of the network,and in the case of dense nodes deployment,reduces the energy consumption to improve the life of nodes.
