Abstract: This paper presented a map matching method with lower complexity,better real-time and higher matching accuracy．The method,which is based on the weights measure and curve fitting map match ideology,and combined with road network topology information,provides vehicle location information timely and accurately,and can be applied to the vehicle monitoring,real-time traffic information collection,vehicle navigation．The paper also proposed the arc-projection algorithm with vehicle position- dependent and the dead reckoning algorithm used when the GPS signal is not valid.
